There are 9 lifts accessing 107 trails and 5 Alpine bowls. Beginners can take the green trails, which cover 30 percent of the mountain and offer plenty of wide-open, daily groomed rolling slopes. Known for its deep powder, intermediates and advanced levels will be spoilt for choice! Intermediates will enjoy some glade skiing or powder skiing in the Cedar and Lizard bowls. Real powder hounds should try a day of snowcat skiing with a guide. With its natural terrain, Fernie is interesting to snowboarders. You will find it a challenge simply because of all the traverses. However, the great terrain is worth every bit of the agony and strain to get to it.
Try to avoid the long run-out at the bottom of Falling Star, you will most probably end up walking out—most riders only use it when they return from a days hiking in the backcountry on this side of the mountain.

Depending on experience, to enable you to get the best out of your ability you can choose all different levels, private lessons, group lessons or even a special programme to suit your individual requirements.
