On the mountain there are over 50 places to eat, from self-service cafeterias to friendly mountain chalets. But off the slopes and in the evenings Avoriaz itself, there are plenty of dining options, from small eateries that cater a quick snack, or a fine dining restaurant were you can sample the local cheeses and amazing dishes.
The resort has a number of bars in which to unwind after a tough day on the slopes and if you still have the energy you can find live-music and dancing through until the early hours. This resort is ideal for friends and families and in the evening the atmosphere is relaxing but enjoyable for all ages. With this also being a traffic free resort it makes the evening walks to and from your accommodation knowing you and your children are safe. You will also find in the resort the usual gym, sauna and Jacuzzi facilities, but for a bit more excitement you can also find skidoos, horse-sleighs, ice-skating and even helicopter flights.
If this is your first ski trip, then you have chosen the right place in Avoriaz to begin your winter holiday adventures.
