La Rosiere ski resort has a reputation of being the resort with the most snow in the Savoie.
The chairs and drag lifts out of the village take you to the centre of the slopes and
if you take the lift up to Col de La Traversette you can get over the ridge and to the lifts, which will link you to Italy at Belvedere. There are a few on-piste challenges for experts with the top half of La Rosiere mountain below Le Roc Noir and Col De La Traversette boasting steep and interesting red runs. La Rosiere has wide-open slopes well suited to beginners and intermediates where there are good nursery slopes and short lifts near the village and near Les Eucherts.
Snowboarding in La Rosiere is great for beginners as there is a terrain park served by the Poletta drag lift just above the village centre.
ESF in La Rosiere offers day care for children from 16 months in their baby club and a leisure centre for children aged 3-12. For adults there are lessons no matter what level you're at or you could try something new such as Heliskiing, snowshoeing or Nordic skiing.
